Website developed while at Loud+Clear
Hello, I'm Eric Johnson.
Web Designer & Developer based in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Loud+Clear is a creative advertising agency in downtown St. Catharines. I was responsible for leading new and maintaining existing web projects for our clientele; designing and developing new sites; and programming, updating, and maintaining the in-house and open-source content management systems used on projects. I was in charge of making creative decision regarding project implementations based on client specifications, ensuring quality control and consistency of the final product. While at Loud+Clear, I gained experience in the following Content Management Systems – PyroCMS, CodeIgniter Web Application Framework, Drupal 7/6/5, TeamSite, and Joomla.
Inline Internet Systems is a provider of e-commerce systems and custom solutions based in St. Catharines. As part of their development team, I designed, developed and maintained e-commerce websites and software for gaming kiosks using their iHTML proprietary programming language and PostgresSQL/MS-SQL 2000 databases.
While attaining my undergraduate degree at Brock University in St. Catharines, as part of a student summer-grant, I worked in a team to design and develop a custom content management system to implement and integrate the majority of the school department and faculty websites.
I specialize in creating functional, eye-catching layouts, with a recent emphasis on mobile and responsive design.
Although a large portion of my time is spent in front of a glossy monitor screen, I enjoy many hobbies outside of being a nerd, such as road cycling, snowboarding, wakeboard, and photography.
